So I love the Bible. I try to read it every day actually. Currently, at the suggestion of Mark Scandrette I am reading 5 Psalms a day. I read the Psalm of that date and jump 30 Psalms and read those till i’m done. So, today I read Psalm 21, 51, 81, 111, 141. That way, I will be able to read through the Psalms in a month. On the 31st, you read Psalm 119. Anyway, I was in a Christian book store the other day with Abby just to pass some time as Amy was next door at the fabric shop and I ran into the Bible section. There was the Bible for cops, for fireman, for navy, for marines, for army, for fishermen, for sportsman’s and for golfers. They must have been out of the Bible for Wii players cause I didn’t see it there.
I just don’t understand that, it is so weird. Anyway, I guess people are buying them and reading the Bible so that is good. However we can get God’s word out there I suppose, or is someone just making a ton of money off of the Bible? I don’t want to get into that, cause I don’t have much to stand on, but it just irked me. I like my plain old brown leather bible for people who like to read the Bible, it works just fine.
In closing, my good friend Lars Rood will be guest posting on Justice Friday, check it out.
The answer is yes- someone is making a great deal of money off Bibles.
