Below we have linked our recent news/support letter. It is very Christmasy, but then again so is every mall in N. America right now 😉 The letter is an update of our year, but also a real ask for people to stand with us through prayer and financial support. Working with YWAM we do not receive a salary, but are on full time support as Christian Missionaries working for a non profit. It is difficult for us to ask, but we need to see an increase soon. Just a heads up on that before you read it.

We are sending this letter out as a mailing to some who are not internet savvy, so if you would like to receive a hard copy in your mail box please let us know. Also, if you are interested in becoming a part of our support team, or would like more information about Steps Of Justice please contact us. We need you and can’t do it without you.

Thanks so much for taking the time and for being a part of our lives. Much love to you from us.

Hi Phil. Just read your YS article on “Why I live…” Interesting last name for a YWAMER!!! lol My wife and two children joined YWAM Kona, Hawaii in 1987 and stayed 10 years. Since then I have been a DTS teacher around the world with YWAM, from our home here in Minneapolis. I have a long history with Youth Specialties, having hosted their National One Day Resource Seminar for Youth Workers at the YWAM base in Kona for six years. During this time, Mike Yaconelli asked me to develop their One Day Resource seminars around the world. I said no, and later developed the first ever Youth Leaders Training School at the Kona base for pacific and asian youth workers. We directed that school until we moved home in 1996. Now a couple YWAM bases are thinking of letting me start one at their base. I enjoyed reading your article. That lifestyle still visits us on a monthly basis, but I am also working as a NCAA Tennis Coach at a christian college, and an adjunct instructor for 12 Kinesiology courses at the U of Minnesota, related to coaching theory and tennis. I recently got home from the Kingdom of Tonga speaking at their DTS. Someday it would be fun to meet you if I get out to Seattle. We had two more children born while in Kona, and are now enjoying all four of them, plus a grandchild. Contact me if you like. 651-726-4701 John Sanny

hey there John, good to hear from you. I am actually not in Seattle anymore, we left a few years back, now we work down in San Diego. Interesting to hear about your journey and encouraging to hear what you had to say about the article. Yea, I would love to keep in touch. Do you have twitter?

      Phil
