What a way to end off the year, with a birth. Yep, this afternoon Amy and I are going into the hospital to have our 3rd little girl. Her name, ______ ______ Cunningham (announcing it after the birth). It has been such a crazy year for us as a family. This year has had more travel in it than the years previous, with trips to Cambodia, Haiti, Costa Rica, New Zealand and a huge long 5000 mile drive to Canada.
It has also been a year of new birth. 6 months ago Steps of Justice was birthed. It had been a long time in the dreaming and planning, but this year we decided to go for it and see what would happen. Since then we have seen God do incredible things, beyond what I have dreamed. We have seen some great interest in the 30 day Action/Prayer guide, met some great friends over at Youth Specialties who believe in us, and thinking of some sweet pushes for the coming year, including out 2011 Steps Of Justice Cambodia outreach.
There is only 1 day left in 2010 and we are ending the year with another birth. This morning we are just putting around the house getting final things done and then this afternoon we will go in for the birth. I believe that this birth is going to be significant for other things that we want to see happen out of the ministry that we live out in our lives. We want to see new things with Steps Of Justice. We wan to see our Steps Of Justice team grow and we want to continue to do more things that rule and less things that suck.
In short, we are thankful for 2010 and all that came out of it and look forward to even more in 2011. Thanks to you who have believed in us and helped us get things started. We covet your prayers and support. Much love and Happy New Year.
I love your faithfulness in birthing this dream of Steps of Justice and how God is using it and growing it. You are an example and encouragement to me. And I can’t wait to see pics of this new little gift. Your family is beautiful and a beautiful representation of our God. Praying for you all today.
Thanks Amy, pictures will come for sure.
Blessed to be friends and co-laborers for the kingdom with you and your family. We’re so excited for the little one and Steps. If she wants to wait until tomorrow (doubt it), I’d be happy to share my birthday with such a little treasure!
Thanks Scott, im hoping for today, but tomorrow is AMys dad’s birthday too, so that would be cool. Sharing the birthday with some cool dudes
Happy birthday, baby.
