crickI have been in S.E. Asia for the past 9 days and it has been fantastic. This past week I have been with a team of 22 people, from 7 different nations. We have been learning about areas of injustice, both locally in Cambodia and globally around the world. We are apart of the Steps of Justice Cambodia Trip.

In short, we have learned a lot about sex trafficking, Transgender’s, poverty, children at risk and job opportunities. We have had amazing times of worship and prayer and have seen our hearts break for the things that break God’s, specifically injustice. We have eaten crickets, cleaned garbage off the streets and a soccer field and met with many hero’s from AIM, IJM, Daughters, and Hagar.

We are here for the next 3 day’s and will be working with a few other NGO’s, running a kids club at a church and an orphanage for children with HIV/AIDS and meeting with women who have come out of prostitution for a better life by working as cooks, tailors and other jobs that pay a livable wage.

We are learning that sometimes to do justice you just need to show up, the rest will be made clear when you get there. It is all about obedience. We will be taking one more trip September 30- October 11 if you are interested. Please let me know.

Until then, good morning to you, and good night to me.

Phil
